ARTIST BIO

Julia earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Diego in 2010 specializing in Oil Painting. She resides in San Diego. 

 

ARTIST STATEMENT

The primary focus of my work is to explore the wanderlust that stirs in all of us. I'm fascinated with the human condition and our experience in this world. 

Painting and drawing helps me examine subjects and express a calling in me to create. I create because of the intensity of the process and the gratification I get out of it. My Mind is finally quiet. I can focus. When I use my hands to create an image, I feel complete...Where words fall short, my hands will tell a story.
